Masonry Restorations

Masonry restorations are defined as the art of an existing masonry structure being returned to its original form. Restorations can be completed in various forms depending on the needs of the owner. Primary techniques used in restoration are chemical washes (cleaning the surface of masonry units to remove stains/contaminants), rebuilding/replacement (cracked/broken/missing units are removed and replaced with new units, matching the original units in color and texture), and/or tuckpointing.
